Working Smarter: Are You Marketing with Pinterest?

So you've never heard of Pinterest or you have, but weren't aware you could use it for marketing. Stay tuned.

Aweber has distributed an interesting article that is accompanied by a free How to Market Your Business with Pinterest e-book. If you haven't got time to read the e-book, at least read the article. It discusses a new feature in Pinterest called Secret Boards.

The idea of Pinterest is that users "pin" photographs or graphics onto the Pinterest site where they are seen by hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people. You can place a photo of your products there, (or a copy of you and your mate sitting on a bench seat as at left) although there are terms of service that specify what you can and can't post (as there are with most sites - make sure you read them when signing up).

Secret Boards

As a guy with a recruitment management background, I can see an obvious benefit for people wanting to pin copies of credentials or examples of their work and keep it secret, available only to those whom you approve. There's also many other options. You should check our the article from Aweber titled, A New Way to Market with Pinterest: Secret Boards by Rebekah Henson.

I'd download the e-book too and read it during the Festive Season down time.

Take a look at Rebekah's excellent article and tell me what you think.

  1. I'm familiar in Pinterest, I have visit that site and it seems they're really famous! A lot of people joined, and I don't think so that Pinterest is a secret board. But whatever it is, thanks for reminding. This is very helpful to remind people who's in business.
