What Will You Do Differently in 2010?



Now that 2010 has commenced, one of the things you should be asking yourself is, "What can I do differently this year to be even more successful?"

There are, of course, literally dozens of things you can do to improve your personal and business outcomes. You know some of them already ... maybe you procastinate and need to ditch that habit; perhaps you need to do better chasing up debtors; or perhaps increase your skills; get a new piece of equipment. I'm sure you could add to the list.


One thing I recommend to you this year is that, if you aren't already reaping the benefits of an article marketing campaign, that you consider starting one immediately.


An article marketing campaign has many benefits and can be a really inexpensive way to generate traffic to your site and sell more product or service. Here's what it's about:

  1. You write, have written or otherwise obtain (legally!) articles, preferably about your product or service
  2. Each article has your web link
  3. You distribute the articles to hundreds of free article directories
  4. People go the the directories for information and while there they either download your article to place on their site, in their newsletter, or whatever
  5. Many of the people who read your article click on your site link to find out more about you, your product or service
  6. Some who visit will buy from you
The good thing is that readers represent your target audience. You aren't trying to sell ice cream to someone who really wants a new car battery.

By now, you can see the benefit of article marketing, but you've got one question: "How long would it take to write articles and distribute them?"

Now, here's the answer to the question.

There is software that will find existing articles in free article directories that are related to your products or services. For example, if you sell golf clubs, you can use the software to pick up 500 articles about golf. Then you can place those articles on your site to increase search engine exposure, or you can create additional articles and distribute them.
