News on Australia Day

Site Redesign and Transfer

During the traditionally quiet period over mid-December through January I've changed most of the files in my site from HTML using Dreamweaver to HTML using XsitePro because the latter makes my job 300% easier. It took a lot of work to import every file and convert them to XsitePro, however, the payoff has commenced.

My intention was to make the site leaner, cleaner and to speed up processes that had been taking too long (I'm a one-man-band after all). XsitePro is perfect for that. For example, to place an affiliate link or AdSense advertisement on my site pages, all I do is right lick my mouse where I want the link to occur and select what I want after moving through two or three menus. Bingo, it's in place. To find out whether my pages are optimized for the search engines, all I do is click the SEO tab in the XsitePro screen and after selecting a keyword and clicking "analyze", I read a display that tells me how I could improve all of the elements involved with SEO optimization ... it's that good.

PayPal Australia Has Arrived

PayPal Australia has arrived and with it came the opportunity for me to earn some referral commissions. Thus, I've commenced a site at http://www.paypal-australia.com and have been referring people to PayPal.

PayPal is a much superior provider than the Australian financial institutions which charge setup fees for merchant accounts, ongoing monthly fees and you also need to have a common gateway provider ... more setup and monthly fees. PayPal only charges a small fee when you sell something, so it's a user-pays system. Excellent for new businesses who can't afford to have massive fixed costs.

To checkout the rates PayPal charges (you'll be pleasantly surprised), visit my site above.

Coming Soon

Due for release soon is my ebook about letter formatting and writing. It will help those in business who have never undergone formal business communication training and who need to fine tune their letter writing skills. After all, the letters you send to customers and others says something about you and your business. Therefore, you need them to be excellent.
